Frequently Asked Questions

I have registered my trademark at the INPI, will this also cover my trademark on the Internet ?

Unfortunately no. Anyone can use your trademark simply registering with your name for example as a '.com', eg 'yourcompany.com'. The names are given on a 'first come first serve' basis. This is why it is important for companies to register their names on the Internet as soon as is possible.
